SAN DIEGO (CNS) - San Diego County public health officials Monday reported 529 coronavirus-related hospitalizations -- a high for the month of July -- and expressed concern about a weekend outdoor church service that attracted scores of unmasked worshippers.
The county also reported 523 new diagnoses to raise the region's cumulative coronavirus case total to 27,507, but the death toll was unchanged at 533.
Locally, Bonsall has reported 32 cases, Pala 39 and Fallbrook Fallbrook 266.

Some of the younger members/residents don't give a shit about the health and safety of the seniors and elders living in and around the reservation.

Why was Pala the ONLY tribe that lowered percap due to casino closures??? Other tribes discussed it after the first month but didn’t have to lower percap because they had reserves. Also the other tribal casinos payed their employees for the first few weeks. Pala offered them unemployment from day 1 and didn’t pay their employees beyond the closure. Robert and Theresa have run Pala’s finances down so much we are running on a month to month bases. If we had to close again for any reason for several months we would lose everything because of the way they have mismanaged the tribes finances. We NEED to get them OUT of office this year for November elections before they make things worse. The people don’t realize how close we are to financial ruin and just 2 to 3 months of not making enough income from defaulting. Rob and Theresa will be ok they put themselves on The board of Pala Interactive which the tribe payed for but doesn’t see any profits from. People please this is serious for all of us. Are we ever going to have another meeting.
The EC is okay with people having parties where minors can drink and get high, but as far as tribal business is concerned it's none of our business.
Remember these dates for future reference so the EC can't come back and say that we voted on passing certain subjects at a so and so meeting that never happened.
When was the last general council meeting? Nominations are in 2 months so they have to have a meeting in October but I wouldn’t put it pass Robert to try and postpone elections until next year due to COVID. According to the Constitution he cannot do that and elections must happen this year. He has changed the Constitution before so we’ll see. There is No Way Robert or Theresa could get re-elected after the last 2 years we have had with percap dropping, paying for health insurance, them draining our tribal accounts, not actively working to stop Covid from spreading in Pala. Everyone needs to be on their toes because we all know Robert and Teresa cannot afford to lose an election and have someone else have access to all of the Tribal financial records and files because then they will both go to prison. They will work on rigging the elections like every year when they are up for election. They do it through the mail in ballots and the post office Pala owns that they have security have late night access to get the ballots and change them and throw away some ballots which it says they can do on each ballot. So everyone PLEASE VOTE IN PERSON. It’s really up to the election committee to check everything. You can tell if the same person marked more than one ballot by their style of marking or “x” the box. Remember robs daughter and lackey Dion got the least amount of votes last year so that shows you Robert has no support and will only win by cheating. Last years election was legit and see what happen. CHANGE!!!

According to today's news paper Pala is now at 57 cases of the covid 19 virus.

The security force should only need not more than 4 or 5 vehicles in its fleet.

NORTH COUNTY (CNS) – A man died after he was believed to have been in a fight in the parking lot at Pala Casino Spa & Resort, San Diego County Sheriff’s officials said Saturday.
The man was taken by ambulance from the 4700 block of State Route 76 to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 7:50 a.m. Friday.
Upon further investigation, the victim was believed to have been in a fight with another man in the parking lot of the casino at about 6:30 a.m., according to Lt. Thomas Seiver of the Sheriff’s Homicide Unit. The victim apparently left the scene and deputies found him about six miles west of the casino.
Homicide detectives responded and assumed the investigation.
Anyone with information about the incident was asked to call the Sheriff’s Homicide Unit at 858-285-6330. Tipsters can also remain anonymous by calling Crime Stoppers at 888-580-8477
It's been rumored that prior to Vern dying, he was hanging out and living at Andrew Smith's house. Andrew and Robert know very well how to cover up murders. Robert Smith fired Vern Linton who was a tribal employee
after Vern left his girlfriend, who is the sister in law of Robert Smith.
Even Vern's own son's turned on him at some point and put him in the hospital by beating him up because of his split with their mother and Vern married a younger lady.
Someone is responsible for killing Vern and to let it go is just as wrong as the one or one's that did the crime.
There has been too many murders that have gone unsolved in pala that have been tied to the smith brothers.
The FBI needs to be involved in this investigation from the start so the facts won't be covered up.
Even in the other murders in pala where the suspects were caught and jailed with evidence they were let go and to date not one single person has been convicted of those crimes.
