JULY 14, 2018 - Irvine, CA - Fox Racing, the global leader in MX and MTB gear and apparel, announces a partnership with the Pala Band Of Mission Indians to create "Fox Raceway." Located in Pala, CA, the Fox Raceway features world-class motocross tracks, an all-new Fox Racing retail store, and many other features that make it the premier motocross track in Southern California.

"The Pala Band of Mission Indians have been tremendous motocross supporters for many years and we're proud to partner with them. The goal of the Fox Raceway is not only to elevate the track experience, it's also to support and grow the entire core motocross community." - Jeff Taylor, Senior Vice President, Fox Racing

In addition to six beginner to pro-level motocross tracks, Fox Raceway has an all-new covered patio area, a fully stocked Fox retail store complete with product demo and jersey printing capabilities, the first "Jeff Emig's Learn To Moto" center, and a year-round schedule of consumer activations.

Fox Raceway is located at 12799 California Hwy 76 in Pala, CA.

Hours of operation are Monday-Tuesday and Friday through Sunday from 8am-5pm.

We have begun construction on the Pala Cable Park. It will be a 6 tower Rixen and (2) little bros. Its actually not at the casino but at the Pala action sports park where the Pala Raceway MX is. Take a sneak peek at Southern California’s first cable wake park, The Wake Compound currently in development located on the Pala Indian Reservation in San Diego County. The Wake Compound is schedule to open this summer sometime in July. Needless to say this place will be blowing up given it’s proximity to the surf, mountains and world famous skate parks.

The Rainbow Community Planning Group has stated that the Pala Band of Mission Indians has responded to its latest written plea (Aug. 19) for help in regards to a noise issue coming from Pala Raceway that they say is disrupting peaceful living. Unfortunately it wasn’t the answer they were hoping to hear.

RCPG chairman Dennis Sanford said the group received a letter dated Aug. 29 from Pala Chairman Robert Smith, which essentially said noise from the raceway does not exceed legal limits and the Tribe would not require the operators of the raceway to take any further steps to reduce noise.

"We have no proof of the sound levels as their study results were not shared and we had no access [to them]," said Sanford. "County ordinances govern noise levels being emitted from various sources. We have been told by the Tribe that because they are a "sovereign nation" they can do whatever they want and are not subject to various laws and ordinances."

In regards to taking any other measures to reduce noise emitting from the track, Smith said those measures would be "prohibitively expensive."
