kusi.com Pala man saves dog from burning house

Excerpt:

PALA (KUSI) – The fire that tore through Jose Guzman’s home in Pala destroyed almost everything his family owned, except for one thing, their dog.

In cell phone video that’s gone viral, Guzman is seen rushing past firefighters and into his burning home in a frantic search for his dog. Fighting heavy smoke, Guzman ran to the back and found Gabbana still on her leash, but crouched inside the bathroom, the only room that had not burned.

Was the fire in little Mexico at Mexipino corners. Its a wonder that the whole slum didn't go up in smoke. So who benefits from the contributions to the Guzman family. Them I hope. Don't allow that part of the slum to be rebuilt. Absolute courage Mr. Guzman. You must not be a Pala Indian. Not with courage like that. God gave you a path out of there. Take it. You and your family have a second chance at life. Take your dog and family and find a good life. You deserve it.

Probably one of those sewer ponds exploded, shit every where.

It was across the river some where.
probably down by the 2 story pink house area.

I hope, God forbid, if my house or a neighbors house vcr atches fire the fire-fighters wont stand around looking like they dont know what to do and afraid to help somebody who goes inside to save family members. Surprised after how much money is spent on fire protection by the tribe.

Well it is starting. Robert must really be desperate for money. He is now asking several members to do DNA tests to affirm their right for membership. Of course he will be selecting only those he does not like. What about Cindy Leal Robert. Everyone know she doesn't belong. What about Jimbo? He really doesn't belong. How many more will be disenrolled in order to feed the hungry hog. It is no longer a matter of when or maybe. It is happening right now. WE TOLD YOU SO!!! Now what will you do to save your families. Nothing? Like you did for us. Nothing? Remember that we because we will do nothing for you. You gave the power to Robert now live with it. Ha Ha Ha Ha

Remember when the Brittains said they would do DNA, and Robert said DNA was not 100% true, so he would not accept it.

For the record, DNA testing can only prove paternity and maternity if an orphan. In other words, DNA testing, for enrollment purposes, can only be used to prove parentage. Other tests can be done to prove Aunts, Uncles, Brothers, Sisters, and Cousins, but nothing past 1 or 2 generations unless there are living members from both sides going back 2 or 3 generations, then through elimination, a person can prove a family relationship, but for enrollment purposes, paternity is the only accepted DNA test. In other words, a DNA test can never prove blood quantum, tribal affiliatiin, or anything other than parentage or family relations.

A geneoligcal DNA can give percentages as to what percentage Native American a person is. I suggested a while ago that EVERYONE enrolled be required to do a GENEOLIGCAL DNA, have a background of their family to prove their eligibility for enrollment. Have it done in a highly respected, confidential company where Robert nor his cronies can contaminate the results. Give the members 30 days to comply, if they don't then all per capita be suspended.

Anonymous said...

Not quite how it works 6:34. The percentage could reflect all aspects of native American which means that someone who is Mexican will show up as native American. South American Indians will show up as native American. The percentage does not even reflect blood quantum. Everyone is tagged with at least 1% African. Some goes to Asian. Some goes to European. The bottom line is that there is no such thing as 100% native American. So to be 25% native American could mean that someone is 1/2 blood quantum. There is no sure formula for determining blood quantum. Nor is there any method for distinguishing type of Indian/Native American. It can identify regions where certain dna factors are dominant but even that is not a final determination. What I find most unique is that after all the talk that we came from asia, dna does not support that theory. Everyone sure is quiet about that fact.

Genealogical DNA as a criteria for enrollment would allow the whole continent to apply...lol...DNA tests for ancestry/geneology are nothing more than bullshit...they prove nothing.

Anonymous said...

If every tribal member is required to take a DNA test then the entire EC would be gone.
The DNA test would only prove that they do not belong on the Bands roles so go ahead Robert and do your DNA testing and see that we were right all along you corrupt
fat GERMAN SO OF A BITCH.

Anonymous said...

Geneoligcal DNA does only give percentages, however with the proper background paperwork documentation as to family lineage then yes it could work.

Anonymous said...

People you need to understand DNA testing only shows where your chromosomes come from, you get a set from your Mom and from your Dad. How woukd that prove elgibility for enrollment. Genealogical DNA is fake, Native American DNA includes the whole American continent from Alaska to South America, it is not tribal specific, how would that be used for enrollment with paperwork. Example 1: an individual gets a DNA test with another enrolled individual, the resukts will not be valid unless the two are either chikd and parent or siblings or nephews-niece-uncle-aunt, how woukd that prove blood quantum. Exame 2: an individual gets a genealogical DNA test that says they are 30% Native American, that woukd include the whole continent and nothing more specific, how coukd that be used for blood quantum or enrollment. DNA testing for enrollment is only used to prove parentage and descent from a parent for enrollment nothing more. Duh!

I truly believe that this is just another plan by Smith and Nieto to get rid of some members that don't support their corrupt lifestyle.
It will not prove any kind blood degree to prove enrollment status in any Tribe/Band.
But they can and will use it to say that you do not qualify for enrollment in Pala.
Be careful what you agree to with this EC.
They are always looking for different ways to screw the
members of PBMI.
Robert amd Theresa are wanting to secure their families
future with PBMI before they are arrested or die so know one can mess with their blood degree concerning their family members.
They are even willing to go against the Bands own so called constitution/Articles of Association to get it done.
All they have to do is fix the disenrollments and it done.
But they will never admit their wrong doings against the Britten family even though all the enrolled members know the truth about what really happened and why.
They would rather continue to lie and cover up their bullshit instead of making things right.

Anonymous said...

I have to agree with 3:59 after reading all the posts
that have recently be posted about the blood degree of Smith and Nieto and their status to be enrolled in PBMI.
Be very careful about what the EC wants you to vote on at any future meetings and make note as to what was passed and mot passed at these meetings because if you don't they will say that the General Membership passed certain motions at a meeting just to get what they want from the membership.
It would be nice if we could have a certified recorder take all the minutes of the meetings especially where voting is done by those stupid machines that they use.
Then after the reporter certifies the minutes then every adult member should receive a copy for their records.
That way everyone is up to date on all the issues being brought up at these meetings.
Nothing added and nothing taken away just certified minutes by a certified reporter like they have in the Court house.

Anonymous said...

That would be a great idea if we could get it passed or even brought up for a vote.
That way every thing would be certified in black and white and know one could dispute anything that was or was not passed at a meeting.
Ask around and get more opinions from all of the Members and see what they think.

Anonymous said...

The constitution says that only votes by show of hands or secret ballot are legal at General council meetings. That means that every vote taken by machine tally is illegal. If they love their constitution so much then make them live by it.

Anonymous said...

I can't believe that they voted to banish Jim Goodpasture from Pala.
He never hurt anyone living in Pala.
I truly think that Jimbo pushed the issue because he was afraid that Jim would tell the truth about Jimbo being adopted and not being able to be enrolled in Pala.
Jimbo had everything to loose if his father wanted to pull the plug on who Jimbo really is.
For those of you that don't know who Jim Goodpasture is he was married to Carmen Ayala who was jimbo's adopted mother.
Robert stated the Jim tried to run over Jimbo and his grandson, which is bullshit.
If it were true then the Sheriffs would have arrested him.
Jim is an old man who was brought back to Pala at the request of Jimbo after Jimbo learned that Jim had sold his house in Lake Havasu.
Then Jimbo borrow over 80,000 dollars of the proceeds and refused to pay Jim back and even accused Jim of trying to burn down the house on Misty Harper's land on Pala Temecula rd.
Jimbo is not a good person at all.
That land on Pala Temecula rd is not listed in Jimbo Goodpasture's name. It is listed in his ex wife's name,
and is listed as Misty Harper under the Brady Trust.
That's according to the county land tax office.
That makes that land fee land and is taxable.

Anonymous said...

If that is true then the people that own the land have to
go by the rules and regulations of the County of San Diego and they should not have all of that stuff stored on the property like they have without some kind of permit given by the county of San Diego.
Maybe it is time to give the County a phone call and see whats up.

Anonymous said...

Fee land in rez boundries is in limbo, county could care less about anything except collecting taxes. Jumbo is in limbo

Anonymous said...

Why would you vote on a recorder for the meetings. You will first have to get it on the agenda and that ain't goons happen. Just use your phones and record the meetings and transcribe the recording then mail a notarized copy to yourself and three others. There is nothing that exist in any ordinances or the constitution that says you can't do this. This is what Robert has done for years he figures that if there is no rule against it then it is unwritten permission. So why take it to vote, you already have permission. To catch that snake you gotta start thinking like him, don't become like him but start to anticipate his move by asking if I was a corrupt, greedy, power hungry, predatory sewer rat, what would I do.

Anonymous said...

That property is in his ex wife's name and she is not an Indian.
She is a white woman and does not live on the property.
I was told that Jimbo Goodpasture could not put it in his name for some reason or another.
I think that Robert Smith has something to do with this property as it used to belong to his father, Victor Smith
who sold it to the Brady family years ago for a real cheap price which i will not disclose at this time.
As Robert got older he would always say that his dad was stupid for selling that property for such a small price and that someday he would get it back.
So maybe Robert has an interest in it one way or another
and i will find out by contacting some of my sources in San Diego and Riverside counties.

Has anyone heard anything yet about the interactive, jets? Not one word since the special meeting. Aren't we supposed to break the contract with the jets and sell the interactive, plus some property? It's strange how quickly people forget and get back into Robert's distraction of evictions.

Anonymous said...

I heard that in stead of the EC getting rid of the jets all they did was change the accounts around to make look like the EC doen't have a standby jet.
They put everything in the Casinos business account for the jets.

Anonymous said...

If this us true the EC is in big shit because it was VOTED on by the GC to get RID of the jets. This has got to be addressed along with the interactive, and land that was supposed to be sold. What the hell are they hiding? If this is true, then it's past time to remove them out of the council immediately, that is enough grounds to impeach.

Anonymous said...

I found out last night that this is very true from someone that works in the financial office at the Casino
but his/her ID will not be exposed , and that is why he/she gave me the info.
The casino only had 1 jet for their use and now there are
3 on standby and the EC and the Chairman have full use of at least one of them and possibly a second one there is one at the airport in French valley and 2 at Palomar airport.
I am going to get the tail numbers for all 3 in a matter of a couple of days and i will try to figure out who to give the info to.

Anonymous said...

This hiding shit has to be addressed. We need to definitely bring these issues up. Find out how many "high rollers" even play at the casino, and are they playing enough to cover the costs. Judging by how empty the casino has been I'm pretty confident it's not happening. And the interactive has got to go, it's just a money laundering machine for the EC.

Also look at real estate that Smith and Nieto purchased with tribal funds and pay taxes on with tribal funds, but list another entity as the owner. This is a tax liability that is not recorded as an asset on the Profit and Loss report. The way to find these properties is to request the records from the County Recorder of all the properties that the PBMI pays taxes on.

Any real estate that PBMI pays taxes on should list PBMI as the owner. If the Band is paying taxes for other owners then that is conversion of assets and is illegal. It means assets that belong to the Band have been conveyed to other owners without reporting to the General Council.

Even worse is that Band is paying the taxes for the other owners. In such situations the other owners are most probably Smith and Nieto who are using real estate to embezzle from the Band.

Anonymous said...

2:25 you will not get tail numbers. The jets are part of a fleet that are on standby and used as needed. Pala does not own 3 particular jets but owns an interest in the fleet. We do not know how many jets are in the fleet but there are several. The fleet may be stationed in texas and when ordered a jet will fly to French Valley or Palomar depending upon the reservation order. The other part is true. Robert and Theresa got rid of the tribal jet and just transferred the lease agreement to the casino where it will be taken out as an expense and deducted from our share of the revenues. So yes the tribal jet is gone but Robert will just use the casino jets now.

Anonymous said...

Getting the tail numbers is not a big deal to me any way.
It's a honor to be able to expose Smith and Nieto for what they are.
They are lowlife rotten dirty shit filled diapers that lie every chance that they can to the people that they are supposed to protect.
So every time i come across any information that shows them deceiving the membership i will let people know about it.
Even though this issue with the jets is just a small issue it does show that Robert Smith and Theresa Nieto are liars and people should take a good hard look at all the small issues because these small issues are used to cover the larger issues being hidden by Smith and Nieto.
I only went to high school for 6 months and quit and some of the members here in Pala have an extensive
education and still can't see what the corruption has done to the Pala Band of Mission Indians or they just don't give a rats ass about the Tribe only the money that the EC lets them have every month.

Anonymous said...

This jet shit is pissing me off. They were told to get rid of them, buy out the contract. They were NOT told to hide it in the casino paperwork. There is no reason to have a jet for high rollers, they don't play enough to cover the costs. I will bring it up the next meeting along with the interactive and land that was supposed to be sold.

Anonymous said...

The land that was supposed to be sold was more than likely sold to Smith or Nieto and the Members will be told that it was sold and the money was deposited into the Bands general fund account,
They will offer no proof no paperwork of any kind and the
people at the meeting will believe every word that the EC tells them.
This is how they get away with it, say they are selling a piece of land foe $500,000 okay so they say that it is listed and a couple of months later they draw $400,000 out of one of the Bands accounts and then they wait for say 3 weeks and deposit the $400,000 back into the account a tell the members that it sold for $400,000
and can produce a deposit slip for that amount as proof
and then they can transfer the deed of the land to anyone that they want to, even to themselves and no one will know the difference.
It is real easy for them because the real estate company that they use is owned by a woman that went to school in Escondido with Theresa Nieto.

Anonymous said...

All these questions and allegations has to be brought up the next meeting, in front of the whole GC. The EC is not doing what they were directed to do so isn't that enough to remove them from office? They are destroying our Tribe all because of greed, revenge, and stupidity.

Anonymous said...

How about all the land and buildings that were bought with Tribal funds and no one has questioned the EC about them and has not asked for any kind of proof of the taxes being paid and who's name is the property in.
Like the warehouse in Temecula on Winchester rd.
And the house that is in Fallbrook by the high school
that houses a business under the name of pala band of mission indians.
Just google pala band of mission indians in fallbrook and see for yourselves, it will pinpoint the address for you.
Show us the proof that these properties do in fact belong to the Band and not someone else like Smiths wife
Trina or whatever name Rob wants her to sign as.

I can see rescuing my pet from a house fire.
But if it was Smith or Nieto or even Perez that was in the house i would probably throw an extra 5 gallons of gas on the fire to make sure that ashes to ashes dust to dust was the final out come.

Anonymous said...

I have done a little research on that property that Jimbo Goodpasture says is his.
First of all his name is not listed anywhere on any paper work concerning this property.
It is all in the name of Misty Harper under the Brady Trust.
It seems that they are trying to pull a fast one over the County of San Diego.
This land was purchased while Harper and Goodpasture were still married so why is it in her maiden name.
Also why is this property still held in trust status if Harper is a non Indian.
My opinion is that Robert Smith is connected to this
property in a major way.
It is a major concern for the Tribe to be involved in this type of action.
Misty Harper does not make enough money to pay the taxes on this property so maybe the Tribe is paying for them.
NOW DO YOU SEE WHY WE NEED AN AUDIT DONE ON THE FINANCIAL STATUS OF THE BAND.

Anonymous said...

Not only the above mentioned property but also i learned
from one of my sources in Riverside county that Smith bought a place off of crest dr in the Rainbow area.
It is a large place with 2 houses on it one main house and another granny flat type of house on it.
He was said to have bought it about 5 years ago and has never lived on the property.
I am trying to get my source to get a copy of the documents which would have all the escrow information
listed on it, and down payment money and where it came from.
And also to see if the Pala Band of Mission Indians was involved in any part of the escrow on this property including the down payment.

Anonymous said...

It was on Crest Canyon rd. in Rainbow however i believe it maybe considered in the Fallbrook area.

Anonymous said...

I went to that place tonight and saw it for myself it is a gated property and one of the next door people said that Pala owned the property and that there was a Mexican family that was living there but moved out about 1 month ago.
And the only people that have been seen there was a Pala truck with a flat bed and tool boxes mounted on the sides
and that they would mow the grass and the weeds and thake the trash.

Anonymous said...

After the above post I decided to have a look for my self
so i drove to this place this afternoon and sure enough
there was a pala work truck parked outside the gate but i did not see anyone around.
I waited for about 10 minutes or so and i decided to leave.
Maybe this is where Tribal employees take their afternoon naps.

Anonymous said...

You are wasting your time on this property because when you bring it up at a meeting Robert and the EC will lie about the property and everyone will believe them.
That would kill it from being brought up again for one year which would give the EC and Smith time to cover up any wrong doing on the property purchase.
At least that what he says when something is brought up at the meetings.
He says that if something is said and motions are made concerning what is brought up then it can not be brought up again for 1 year.

I don't want to insult this dog but the picture looks like Robert Smith recovering from a tough weekend drunk and being turned down by all the women that he wanted to have sex with.Put a pair of glasses on the dog and you will see your chairman's mirror image.

I will bet that this dog would not piss on the plants in the hallway in the Casino, even as Eric Garcia Ortega as his handler.

Where was the fire chief? Why haven't we heard a statement about this incident? Is it because he can barely read and write? Or maybe it's because he's not qualified to clean the floors of a fire station, let alone be in charge of it. All 3 fire chiefs at that station are incompetent morons and shouldn't be allowed to call themselves firefighters. What a pathetic fire department. they're better off contacting with cal fire
