Hope you continue to heal. Thank you for all you do. Praying for you. You are right, Robert has been manipulating the tribe for a long long time. Seems like there is a sense of tide change in the air. Justice will prevail.

You are right the tide can only continue in a path for so long and will change coarse.
Hopefully the change of in the air will be enough to get the corrupt EC out for good with charges against them all.
They think that playing God with peoples lives will not go unpunished
is wishful thinking on their part, specifically Smith and Nieto.
I know for sure that the change in the air that is coming is solid and
is in black and white verified evidence on what Smith and Nieto are so guilty of.
Lets all pray and hope that it really works this time.
Their jail cell await them for their long term.

Why doesnt the ACTCI work on fixing Pala instead? Pala needs all the help it can get to become the tribe it should be. I know the 10 that had their rights stripped to attend meetings, vote, or run for office for exercising their Constitutional rights are fighters and we need them to have their rights restored. Mainly because by us allowing this we are making it ok for the EC to do this to any of us. I know nowadays many members wouldn’t care as long as they continued to get their check but when you realize there are more important things than money when it comes to your tribe and life itself. I feel sorry for those members because those are the ones Robert cultivates cause he can use you and make you do whatever he wants because your mindless and don’t care what happens you just blindly follow the check and it’s sad. Once I got a job a didn’t depend solely on percap my thinking changed. Ya it’s nice but it’s supposed to be extra a bonus of sorts not a crutch or life line. When you use it as such the person prescribing it becomes your ruler and natives have had enough people controlling them with threats and power and it’s still happening. Everyone is afraid to open their mouth or run against smith or nieto in fear of putting a target on their back by them. What happen to the brave native who stands up to tyranny? Have the majority become lap dogs who obey their master for food and lick his hand when he walks by? Or high school girls that talk sh#t all day behind Smith/nieto back and don’t do anything about it. I’m tired of being disappointed after every meeting and every election. Why don’t I stand up you ask? I would if I knew I had the support of the tribe but I have almost lost faith in our people for allowing Pala to become what it is and for allowing our council to harm our people in different ways why we stay silent until it is our turn. The past is repeating itself again except this time we are doing it to ourselves. The biggest difference is this time we can stop it and we can win if we stand together and demand answers and demand equality, fairness, and change. We demand answers!!

It's up to PBMI members to fix their own problems. Waiting for outside help hasn't worked too well so far. The ACTCI has a lawsuit to win and is focused on that.

Rumors are beginning to spread that someone is gearing up to run against Robert Smith this election year.
Who ever he or she is needs the support of the entire Tribe to over come the corruption that is in full run over the entire Tribe.
When the timing is right you will know who this brave person is and
please focus on the on the outcome of the entire Tribe as a whole an support this person for the good of the Reservation.

King Freeman is 100 times the man that Robert Smith wishes that he could be.
King has always been a stand up Chairman and was there to help any members of the Tribe in any way that he could.
He never focused on stealing from the Tribe like the EC of today.
He has been spotlighted by Smith because of telling the truth about Smiths family, mainly smiths mother.
Smith never defends his fathers name to anyone.
The only thing that his father brought to the Reservation is the Sheriffs department to arrest him for being drunk and beating up his wife.
Well I guess that old saying " the truth hurts" really is true, isn't Robert Smith.
So because of the truth about Smith he gets even by disenrolling the Britten family that truly belongs on the Tribal rolls.
But because of the hate that smith has for King and Willy this is the outcome.
Robert Smith can't be a real man and face off with King or Willy one a one on one man to man kind of settlement, he has to go after people that had nothing to do with any of this fight.
So little chicken chairman just wait until you are no longer in charge and see what the reversing of the table has in store for you and your loved ones from that other reservation that you are from.
And also don't forget that other owl faced little bitch Theresa Nieto
who made the motion to disenroll the Britten family she will be lomg gone when she no longer sits on the EC along with her family from sulfer springs.

And don't forget Dion Perez who hopes that he is sent to Prison
because he likes the dick and he will be a happy camper with so many dicks at his demand.
What a shitty deal for him.

This is the last paragraph of the B.I.A , Dept of Interior recommendation letter on the Brittains disenrollment by Smith and Nieto that was sent to the disenrolled and the Pala EC. After receiving this letter you would think the EC wouldn’t go through with the disenrollments since there was obviously NO REASON or EVIDENCE to support it. What reason did smith/nieto use that they wouldn’t provide to the BIA of the tribal members???? Also when Smith was asked by Christy Fajardo during the news report on Pala disenrollments his answer when asked “why not show those documents” his response “again we shouldn’t have to show anyone” what about the tribe they want to know why?? Remeber many Brittains are still enrolled members. **Section 8 of the enrollment ordinance, however, permits the Regional Director to provid informal recommendations on the executive committee’s actions. Based on our review of the documents provided by the individuals requesting review and the records in our office, it is our recommendation that these individuals remain enrolled with the Band AS THERE WAS NO EVIDENCE PROVIDED TO SUPPORT THE DISENROLLMENT OF THESE INDIVIDUALS. Therefore, our recommendation to the Band is to continue to recognize the membership status of the individuals affected by the February 3, 2012 executive committee action.

Letter dated/received July 13, 2011 Robert Smith received a letter from Dept of Interior per his** requesting information for enrollment applications for the following individuals on 1928. Agency receipt of this letter was June 27,2011.
The individuals for this request were named as follows:
1. Vivian Trujillo Banks
2. Esperanza Brittain Trujillo
3. Fildeo and Defredia Trujillo Magee
Enclosed are copies of the 1928 applications from the 1928 California roll of Indians. Please be advised these applications do not denote tribal membership of enrollment. “That’s because Pala cannot use the 1928 California Indian rolls for enrollment purposes and the dept of Interior reminded smith of this. He requested these June 2011 and had the first disenrollment July 2011.
There is also a ducument between Stan Mcgarr “Pala Secretary at the time” and Barbara Gonzales-Lyons Vice-Chair of Cahuilla where Barbara was requesting Margarita Brittain and her children’s blood degree for enrollment of their members that have Brittain blood.
**The Pala Allotment Roll (PAR) approved by the secretary of Interior November 3, 1913 and the Pala census (PC) for the year 1919, show Margarita Britten to be of the following:
1. Female, (PAR), (PC)
2. Village, Kupa (PC)
3. 4/4 Degree Indian Blood (PAR)
4. All children to be 1/2 Degree Indian Blood (PAR)
The (PAR) and (PC) are acknowledged by the Pala Band of Mission Indian Tribe to be true and the tribe agrees with the degree of Indian blood in these records.

Delfredia was married to Paul Magee not to Fildeo.
Who is Fildeo that he is referencing in his request.
Is smith trying to falsify shit again or what.
He must be referring to Epifanio Fidelio aka uncle Jack who married
Esperanza Trujillo after her husband Pedro P. Trujillo past away in 1927.
Jack and Esperanza did not have any children together.
The children that Esperanza had were from her husband Pedro Trujillo
who was from La jolla Indian Reservation and was a member there on the Roles as
Full blood Luiseno. So the Trujillo family members have a lot of Luiseno blood as well as Cupeno and smith and Nieto still disenrolled
some of their family members.
They probably have twice as much Indian Blood as anyone on the EC.
Especially the ones from Sulfer Springs-Morongo.
I wonder why they couldn't use their Great Grandfathers Luiseno blood to stay enrolled in Pala, there are some members that were able to do so.
Even as evidence of the letter sent by Stanley Mcgarr to Barbara Lyons
it clearly states that MB was on the PAR= Pala Allotment Rolls 4/4
Coupeno and her children are all considered as 1/2 so the Trujillo members that got disenrolled all should be put back on the rolls ASAP.
There is no doubt about their blood degree, they do belong.

Anonymous said...

MB is 4/4. All the 1/16 descendants should be re enrolled

Reinstatement_Restitution said...

Delfreida Trujillo is my grandmother, and Pedro Trujillo is my great grandfather. You are correct about the relationships, but I think Pedro Trujillo was 3/4 blood.

Anonymous said...

Even at 3/4 the blood line is still there.

Anonymous said...

And that's not even including the Indian blood line of their Grandmother side, the Rivers family.
So go ahead and use total blood degree.

I here rumors that La Jolla Reservation is going to open up a small Casino soon, can anyone confirm.

Nobody is disputing a tribes sovereign right to determine its own membership which means a tribe can set the criteria for enrollment and then every member must qualify based on the enrollment criteria. In Pala that’s not what’s happening and the BIA should be able to step in and not trample on Pala’s right to determine its own membership. You see Soboba, Cahuilla, Morongo, and Pala all enroll Margarita Brittain descendants but only Pala enrolls with MB listed as 1/2 Cupeno and the other 3 tribes enroll with her as 4/4 Cupeno the way it has always been. So even tho a tribe can determine the qualifications for enrollment who determines natives blood degree?? Isn’t the BIA suppose to be the record keepers of all natives and have a central data base where each original allotee and every native has their blood degree on file? This should be the final say on natives blood degree and then each tribe can enroll members using whatever qualifications they like but all have to use the same data base for Native Americans blood degree. Pala has enrollment qualifications which are a direct descendant of an original allotee in the 1895 or 1913 rolls and at least 1/16 Cupeno. In order to make the disenrolled not meet these qualifications they lowered Margaritas blood degree and never gave the tribe or BIA a reason why??? So the BIA is not interfering with Pala’s enrollment by demanding they list MB as FULLBLOOD like the BIA,Dept of Interior records state. They are not telling Pala to change their enrollment criteria just that they have to be correct and accurate when using natives blood degree and lineage. A birth certificate and census is not something you can just change it is fact and every tribe should have to use the correct data. Imagine your state Governor made a law that only Mexicans can live in California. That is California setting the rules for who can live in their state (like a tribes membership). Your mom is Mexican and your dad is white so you could live in California but then the Governor says no your not Mexican your only white you need to leave the state. Even tho you have documents and census records stating your race over the years the Governor doesn’t have to accept it or even look at it. Or he does look at it and says this is incorrect you are only white not Mexican so you need to leave California. Same thing that is happening in Pala. If the Federal government said its California’s choice to decide who can live there and they can’t interfere. The Federal government isn’t really interfering in California’s law by looking at your records and telling California you are half Mexican and it is a fact so they need to list you as such. Now then if California has to except the truth that you are Mexican and can stay in the state then it is also their right to change the law so that only Irish can live in the state and the Fed’s can’t intervene that is California’s right. As long as they use the correct census for every person and not change them to suite their needs like in Pala.

NOW LOOK WHAT HE IS UP TO.

FOR SECURITY PURPOSES==============

ALL NON MEMBERS WILL BE REQUIRED TO SHOW THEIR ID CARD, DRIVER'S LICENSE,ETC... TO THE SECURITY GUARD UPON ENTRANCE TO THE ADMIN.

MEMBERS

ALL TRIBAL MEMBERS WILL BE REQUIRED TO SHOW A COPY OF THEIR TRIBAL ENROLLMENT CARD TO THE SECURITY GUARD UPON ENTRANCE TO THE PALA
ADMINISTRATION BUILDING.

HE IS GETTING SCARED OF SOMETHING AND DOESN'T REALIZE THAT HE IS HIS OWN WORST ENEMY.
DISENROLL HIS ASS AND HIS NON BLOOD OF THE BAND FRAUD KIDS.

Anonymous said...

Lets see how brave he is concerning Andrew Castillo aha Hawka.
He was arrested again the other day when they raided his house.
They found drugs, weapons and drug related items.
His bail is almost 300,000.
Lets see if he loses his house this time around.
I believe that this is the 3rd or 4th time he was raided and he still has his Tribal home.
Didn't the EC take away a elderly lady's home away because there was a gang member there that was dating one of her daughters.
He won't do shit about Castillo's house because he is scared of Hawka.

Being that Wells Fargo Bank has an office branch in the Admin building how is that going to effect their customers having to show their ID's to do their banking.
All other branches do not require this type of monitoring to access their bank.
If the Bank has a contract with the Tribe they better read the contract before they start requiring anything.
They, the tribe could be in violation of their contract.
Then the Tribe would lose the perk of having a bank that they use on the Reservation all because Smith and Nieto are afraid of something.

Anonymous said...

He gave up his home.

Anonymous said...

When?

Anonymous said...

If he did give up his house, which I don't think he did is not what is important.
The EC should have never let him live there after the first time he got raided for the drugs and weapon charges that sent him to Prison in the first place.
Especially after he tried to blow up his house a few months ago when the Sheriffs Dept had to evacuate his neighbors.
The EC picks and chooses who can get away with shit in Pala and it makes no difference what they are guilty of, even Murder.
Every Tribal Member that lives on the Reservation knows that the Pala EC turns their head on certain issues and even let the EC continue to do so because they are afraid of the Current EC.
Someday someone will call there bluff and stand their ground and the EC will not know how to act.
Maybe one of them might get shot at or even hurt real bad and the EC will try to have the one defending his rights and protecting his family disenrolled even though the EC are the guilty party.
They better not even think about hurting any more members of my family because they may get an airmail surprise from my friend
Mr.30 30.
The Pala EC should take partial blame for Castillo's problems because of condoning his problems they should have at least tried to help him.
Who knows, maybe by the EC taking his home may have woken him up and he could have gotten help. But no they were to chickenshit to stop him before he got to this point.

Anonymous said...

I see that his house is a boarded up so maybe the Tribe did decide to act on it. Or did he just say fuck the EC and gave his house up because he knew that this time he would probably lose it anyway.
He didn't want to give Robert the satisfaction of taking it away.

Anonymous said...

The only thing Hawka said over the last six months is that Robert Smith and T. Nieto have to go one way or another and I think that he is as serious as an earthquake.

Anonymous said...

Howka needs prayers he gets the help he needs. Remember there are several homes here where drugs and drug activity is the norm but yet no one does anything about it. Look at Carol Jean's, that home was raided how many times? But yet it still stands empty because now it has to stay in the family because of the burnings. Howka isn't the only person who stated that, he was just more vocal. He needs serious help for serious mental health issues aside from the drugs. The Tribe should have some type of program to help our elders in this type of situation.

Anonymous said...

The only thing that the EC helps the Elders with is taking advantage of them.
Like kicking them out of their homes making them homeless on their own Reservation.
Stealing minors trust account money, turning in the drug dealers that do not pay their dues to Robert Smith to keep selling drugs.
The so called leadership of the PBMI is just shot of a "JOKE".
We need sincere honest leaders to run the Tribe but ever time someone tries they get downed by the EC for things that they never did or the EC will trump up some fake shit that disqualifies them to run for office so now a days people just say screw it why run when you know what is coming for you.
No one stands a chance because of the rigged elections any how.
The only way to get the needed change is for Robert Smith to either die or go to prison and you all know that the Feds have been given a lot of documents and other evidence that would lock up a person for at least 20 years or more but Smith and Nieto are good at covering up their corruption and stealing from the Tribe.
Some people that get their perks from the EC mainly from Smith and Nieto keep backing up their bullshit and they convince their family and friends that it is best for the two assholes in charge.
So the only thing that people can hope and pray for is that they will soon die for their treatment of Tribal Members and their family.
Even the Priest at the Mission said he doesn't understand why Robert does some of the things that he does but yet he still lets Nieto be involved with the services at the Church.

I heard that the EC lowered the per cap at last nights meeting by almost $1000.00 dollars. Can anyone confirm this.

Anonymous said...

Yes they lowered it starting in September.

Anonymous said...

What about the summerb bonus we got?? Oh wait that was just the EC. Thanks for the info! Is the EC on the board of the casino or have interest in it or somethinbbg?? Cause I heard the EC well from the sound of it only some of them will get money if business is good from the exspansion project.
