Pala Can Now Set Its Own Water Standards

Article in the Fallbrook & Bonsall Village News

EPA gives Pala Band of Mission Indians authority to govern tribal waters

Here is an excerpt:

The Pala Tribe can now develop water quality standards for their waters within the Tribe’s Reservation, similar to the process used by states under Sections 303 and 401 of the Clean Water Act. After the Tribe develops and EPA approves the standards, the Pala Tribe will administer surface water quality standards, building upon existing successful environmental programs run by the Pala Environmental Department.

Another big joke.
The fucken Chairman can't even wipe his own ass and pull up his own pants after pissing in the Casino hallway.

WOW, talk about a fast deal.
At the last meeting on the 9th of Nov. the people voted to have the EC look into buying a portion of the Gregory Canyon landfill property.
And according to todays San Diego Union paper the deal was recorded on Thursday for 13 million dollars.
I can't believe that a deal that large only took a few days to finalize.
The deal must have been made way before the people voted to look into
the purchasing it.
Which means Smith and his crew made a bundle off the deal.

The real reason that the EC bought this property is so that the Tribal Security employees will have another spot for them to sleep
away from the Rez so no one can see them.

The next time you see Pala Security sleeping some where just throw an m-80 at their truck and see them jump like a jack rabbit.

I guess it's time to start buying our drinking water from a water co. that won't poison us when they don't get their way.
