In 1903 the Agua Caleinte Cupeno were removed from their ancestral tribal home, the Village of Kupa also known as Warner's Hot Springs. The Cupeno were forced onto the Pala Indian Reservation. This is known as the Cupeno Trail of Tears.
On June 1st, 2011 and February 1st, 2012 162 Warner Ranch Evictee Agua Caliente Cupeno were removed from the PBMI Association by the Pala Enrollment Committee. This is our Second Trail of Tears.
What the hell is up with this bullshit with this Tribal Court, under the Pala Band of Luiseno mission Indians. Come on now Pala, you know that this is a Bullshit Court System. Its not Registered any where that counts, except maybe in a few out houses (camoons) that might have been saved. And used for toilet paper or nose blowing.
Forget about that kangaroo court, that letter reveals a more troubling fact that may spell the end of everyone percapita checks. Read it carefully, Robert Smith negotiated a State gaming compact under the name "PALA BAND OF LUISENO INDIANS! NOT PALA BAND OF MISSION INDIANS! It gets worse in the 2nd paragraph, the 1st sentence stipulates the gaming takes place on the tribes reservation land. Here's my question, is the Pala Casino located on Old Pala tribal land? because according to the compact with the Pala Band of Luiseno indians the casino should of been built on the Old Pala Reservation , is it? last I checked its built on P.B.M.I. land. according to the letter Robert Smith didn't negotiate a gaming compact for the Pala Band if Mission Indians but had a casino built on their land without a compact. That sure sounds like a "Honorable" chairman to me.
According to Robert Smiths statements at the meeting concerning belonging to two different Tribes, makes him, himself subject to immediate disenrollment. WHY, because he is claiming to be the Chairman of two different Tribes,#1 The Pala Band of Mission Indians, and #2, Chairman of the Pala Band of Luiseno Mission Indians of the Pala Reservation.So this action should be upheld, and call for the immediate disenrollment of Robert Smith. This is what he used at the meeting to justify his evictions, and his disenrollments of Tribal Members at the Wed, night meeting. Or is that OK too with the Tribal Members of THE PALA BAND OF MISSION INDIANS.
I am preparing a complaint that will be submitted to the DOJ upon completion. So far their is approx. 728 pages. Its being done by some Law students at UCLA and should be complete by the 28th-29th of September. After it is submitted and documented I will post it here and on the other blog with the blog owners permission. It is a very detailed complaint on the verifiable items of corruption and and fraud on the Pala Reservation and some on the Pechanga Reservation. It's very interesting to read some of the facts involved, and I can't wait to see the out come.
Well it looks the Corrupt EC'S involved on these local Reservations are going to need a good Attorney to defend them in court. SORRY SARA D, I said a good Attorney. And you Sara D. should also go looking for a good one to defend you also. Maybe try the Yellow Pages, and look under, NONE CORRUPT ATTORNEYS.
By a vote of 40 yes and 39 no, Robert Smith you are disenrolled and are no longer the Chairman of The Pala Band of Mission Indians.This was a show of hands vote.
what does this make the EC members. Are they Pala Band of Mission Indians EC members or Pala Band of Luiseno Mission Indians EC members? And aren't they also subject to immediate disenrollment for acting under both Tribes? HELP.
